and walked in all the way of his father David;
he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.
This scripture represents the desires I have for my children, as their mother wanting them to make the right choices. It is not to insinuate as parents we are perfect, we are not. We do have positive attributes to share with them. Their father is very caring, generous, and patient while I, their mother, am very empathetic, nurturing and protective. May we show this to them enough that they walk straight not turning to the right or the left.
